I came across Tracy when I asked my cousin what to getmy mum for her birthday a few years back. And we started brainstorming some ideas, and coming up with different artists since I wanted to get her a CD. We had Lauryn Hill, Joan Armatrading, and these other women who reminded me of my mum in looks and style/vibes...but Tracy Chapman spoke to me the most, and I got my mum as CD which I turned out to love as well as my mum! I am also drawn to Tracy Because she looks like my mum as well, hehehehehe, it's just my mum is more girly.

For Christmas and for New Year, I wish and I resolve, but I'm disappointed with myself, Jesus and Santa Claus... It's all right, it's alright for a dream.

"New Beginning" had a video, so I'm assuming it was released as a single. They don't often shoot videos for promos. I'm not sure, though.

All the b-sides are on the CD2 of Telling Stories Tour edition apart from "I am Yours Acoustic" and "Smoke And Ashes Edit" has a different backing vocal arrangement.

Was New Beginning ever released officially as a single, or only as a promo? Also, what about Talkin' Bout a Revolution, was that, or just a promo as well? What were the tracks on each?

Oh, cool. A completely new forum, or just an improved version of this one?

In the next week or two I am going to be setting up a new forum hosted privately, so no adds and lots more views.

Many thanks to Chapmanist for supporting me on this move! Hopefully it will bring lots of new people to us.

Not that the people on here now aren't great ;)

It took me AGES! but I finally ripped it and uploaded to Youtube, it does have a few glitches however. You can hear someone sign into my MSN at one point and there is an annoying white line.
